Fabulous Mittens from the Frozen North!

Northern Toes (Kim) was my pal this round and what a wonderful pal and package full of Canadian goodies!


Start with pretty mittens in a perfect weight for our wimpy Virginia winters.



Then add some beautiful Fleece Artist dyed merino roving (from Nova Scotia), scrumptious alpaca/merino roving (from a local Ontario farm), Mmmmaple candy and Hot Chocolate (from Quebec), a Christmas Moose (?!?) ornament from Kim's hometown of North Bay, ON.

Last but not least, the cutest addition to the knitting bag in a long time,
